The Time is Now
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (KJV)
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.
This is one of my ultimate favorite Bible verses. So often I come back to this one and find comfort to remember that there is a time for everything. Just like there is a time, right now, for me to pursue my passion and dream of helping others through nutrition. It is an extension of that innate desire of wanting to help people that has been a part of me since I was a little girl. It is what led me to become a nurse and now to where I am today.
It has definitely not proven to be an easy road; there are many things not nutrition-related (such as the business side of things) that I have had to figure out. But I am learning. And the love for what I do, and the joy that it brings me when others express their gratitude for how good they feel after working with me, makes it all worth it in the end.
God Bless,
Angela
